Breath is the way our body makes love with God

To breathe: the very first, and the last thing we do in our lifetime.

Breathing, as it happens, is more than just a biochemical or physical act; it’s more than just moving the diaphragm downward and sucking in air to feed hungry cells and remove wastes. The tens of billions of molecules we bring into our bodies with every breath also serve a more subtle, but equally important role. They influence nearly every internal organ, telling them when to turn on and off. They affect heart rate, digestion, moods, attitudes; when we feel aroused, and when we feel nauseated. Breathing is a power switch to a vast network called the autonomic nervous system.

"The single most important key to sex that I've yet discovered is conscious rhythmic breathing; the more you breathe the more you feel and the more you come alive. Many of us breathe only enough to survive but not to live fully. Deep breathing is a door to waking up to healing and to more personal freedom." ~Annie Sprinkle

Our breath; the main source of nourishment for our cells, and the mechanism for speech, laughter, and the expression of emotions. Respiration is so vital that nature created an automatic and unconscious process and will never let us not breathe. Our breath also contained another invisible energy — Pana, Orenda, Ch’i, Ruah— more powerful and affecting than any molecule known to Western science. 10 This force allows us to stay alive and in good health for as long as possible. If this energy flow is blocked, our body shuts down, followed by sickness and we die.

Is the breath slow, deep and expansive, we extend our Prana, our sexual energy, the core energy of our existence. We come from it and we all have it within us, without depending on anyone else. Prana connects our mind, body and soul.

Rest in silence, attune yourself with the ‘here’. Breath slowly and deeply. By focusing on your breath, you energize and sensitize your inner environment, which activates your sexual energy. Breathing unhooks you from your thoughts. The magic life-affirming phenomenon of conscious breathing during lovemaking enlarges your presence and pleasure dramatically and leads you to the path of ecstasy and a delicate porousness in our body.

Breath connects us with everything and is the harbinger of sound - of singing. Is it perhaps also a matter of coming into vibration, of coming into a vibration with the universe and dancing with it? Recognizing in a deep meditation what one really is? Breath, vibration, sound, light, basically all photons and electrons, protons and neutrons. Each and every person is an entire universe and we are completely connected through the breath and through all the electrons and photons we breath in. But is not the moment of becoming aware of noticing the gap between each inhale and exhale, what let us feel complete, surrender to stillness and become one with the universal love around us?

Exercise : Relax Your Body and Breath Pay special attention to keep your body relaxed as the energy builds up during lovemaking. Allow your power to be wide and round. Your breath fills your body with force. Your movements ride on the force of breath. As you relax through your kinks, fears and resistances, love will develop. Exceed the boundaries of your breathing – slow, fast, faster, inhale deeper, sucking the straw, hold your breath, exhale with a ha-sound, sink deeper, feel, allow receiving to open more up and soften your edges. Your attitude expresses joy and love. In addition, try to smile and be playful as you circulate your energy.

Exercise : Breath energy down the front Bringing the energy down from our head to our abdomen allows us to store the energy safely and to have more energy available to fuel our sex life and our desire for life. In our abdomen resides another center of intelligence in the body, which might be called our “second brain” or “feeling brain.”

The power of love will express itself naturally and spontaneously through your relaxed breath as the play of your sexing unfolds from greater depths.

Exercise : Belly Breathing The Taoists used this practice to calm the mind and spread healing energy throughout the body.
